Kelantan Trip 2010 - Part 1

My first trip to Kelantan was sooo wonderful. I wish I could stay a bit longer but most of my friends are working on Monday so we had to rush back to KL on Sunday.

We departed from KL at 5am in the morning. The weather are quite good, despite of the heavy raining on the previous nite and forced us to postpone our journey 5 hours later. I love the scenery in Pahang, the forest, trees, the beautiful hills... Not to mention, the breezing weather :)

So, the journey was not that boring if we took highway like I did when I went to Kedah some time ago.

 

When we reached Kota Bahru at 1.30pm, we searched for this Politan Hotel. My friend has booked the room through internet. We didn't know where to stay at KB. We were looking for budget hotel that time. So my friend took an iniciative to just google it and found one just in the center of the city, next to City Liner bus station, just nearby Siti Khadijah market and also Istana Diraja Kelantan.

After we checked in, we changed and that time was already 3.30pm! We rushed to Bangunan MARA just few minutes from the hotel to attend our beloved friends' wedding, Faiz and Hani. Many people has left and the majlis was actually ended. But thankfully the food still there (coz we were all very hungry that time ahahaha...) Then took some pictures with them, King and Queen of the day :)

After the wedding, we went back to hotel as we were very tired of the long journey. We took a nap before we went out exploring the city.

We had dinner then also went to the beach at nite. Having goreng2 seafood (don't know what it called) and also air kelapa. Enjoying the shore wind that blows us so softly, realizing how beautiful and relaxing it was living in this city. At 11pm after we make a big round of the city before we went back to Hotel.
