Last nite I watched the Last Airbender 3D at Cineleisure, right after Kotak concert. Feeling don't know what to do even it is already late, but well watching movie was our decision to spend Friday nite.
We rarely bought ticket on the spot, we often book earlier online to avoid full house show. Yes, we meant to watch INCEPTION. Being weeks we missed the movie. Ever since our trip to Jakarta and Bandung, we were so busy with travelling, shopping, also going here and there for the business thingy... So yeah, we just reached KL 2 days ago and it was time for leisure again :)
As we had predicted, we only can get front seats for INCEPTION that nite and since we were there already, why not try to watch other movie?
One movie we'd like to watch was SORCERER's APPRENTICE but we mistakenly thought it as THE LAST AIRBENDER! At first we were okay with that, we thought the movie will be nice too. But after we watch it.......
the famous AVATAR cartoon reminds me of my college life while everybody were talking about it as a great cartoon story. This was the main reason why we just let ourselves watch the movie. But we don't know who to blame (later on, we thought that this is the responsibility of the director) the plot seemed so slow, we almost slept watching plot by plot the movie serve us.
The acting of all actors and actresses seemed so 'kaku'. It was like they just do what the director and script told them to. With no improvisation and no emotional connection with the character they played.
This is only our opinion. If you wish to watch, go ahead. But the 3d glasses doesn't put much effort in bringing up the feel. So, without 3d glasses pun should be okay.
We are not a fan of Avatar, bet all Avatar fans outside will be more dissapointed too...
