Pics of my great moment at Monsoon Cup 2009

This is the story from last year's Monsoon Cup.
Wow, so late... Yeah, last year I still blogging on my other blog, too privacy and I wasn't updating that one often anymore coz after I met Mr.RRBNer2, I share my privacy or too emotional stories with him. So this time I would like to flash back to November last year at Terengganu. I was at Monsoon Cup 2009, an international sail boat racing event :)

I suddenly missed those moments coz few days ago my talent agent called me up, asking me whether I want to go for Monsoon Cup 2010 (last year this talent agent found me and then I worked for the Monsoon Cup for 12 days straight). Then I said "Yes, I do interested." Eventhough I got some feeling inside that told me to not go for this year's Monsoon Cup.

Well, last year's working wasn't feel like working at all. Most of the time I enjoy working there and feels like I'm on vacation to Terengganu hehe... My job scope was quite simple and fun: as USHER; my job is to greet all the 'mat salleh' committee and athletes, make sure that they come to us whenever they have things to ask and assist.

So enjoy some views from last year's Monsoon Cup:

the entrance

giant LCD, so you can see the race in zoom mode

watching the race from far far far away... (so close but can't see clearly)

Guess who I met? Tan Sri Sabaruddin. I accompanied him walking around Ri-Yaz cottage. He was so nice and humble. He also invited us for dinner one nite and belanja us :)

I stayed in this hotel for a week. Nice one. The hotel staffs and owner are very friendly :)

View from my room's balcony. Beach!!! I likee!!!

this pic taken from the lobby of Felda Hotel, Terengganu. The head manager for the event from Malaysia Travel Business took me there (only me from the usher team). I was so lucky. He told me to watch how they work in organizing the event. Some athletes and VIP guests also stayed at this hotel :)

Most important thing that make me feel HAPPY working with Monsoon Cup are FRIENDS:

Aqiela, Amanda and me

she was very special, she's my tutor and i was consider assisting her while doing my usher job there. She's Kak Shikin and she was taking care of me there. She was like my own sister the whole 12 days. Was almost 24/7 she's always at my side and later on become PARTNER IN CRIME too, hehe... I really miss her now :(

this is me and Fifi...

Nadya, Jamie, and me

 me, Amanda, and Hanis

Last day of the event, time for eat Seafood,. This is me with Kak Flora from MTB.
She's very nice person, so busy going oversea here and there handling MTB's events in China, Aussie, Europe, etc.

I seriously have like almost 200 pictures at Terengganu itself. I was so much enjoy working with them. My lucky story was, we have to work for 3days first at KLIA (greeting guests from oversea before they switch flight to Terengganu) but only 2 ushers willing to work there while the rest straight away went to Terengganu. And lastly, only me remains (another one kne buang keje coz not serious in working). First thing was other usher went to Terengganu by bus, while me, I took flight together with the athletes and Malaysia Tourism Business crews.

Then when I reached Terengganu, I supposed to stay at the apartment together with all the ushers, but luckily I was very close with Kak Shikin so she asked me to just stay with her at the hotel. Starting from there, my job was more like assisting MTB crews rather than usher (some time I seperate with Kak Shikin as well coz have to do usherette job too). Since I was close with MTB crews, we have our own car sponsored by CARTRADE, so we can go out anytime we want, shopping, eating out, while other usher might have to stay at the apartment or look for restaurants nearby to eat. So many things I can't explain here. But in short,
I FEEL SO LUCKY WORKING WITH MTB MONSOON CUP LAST YEAR...

I'm looking forward for this year's Monsoon Cup even I know I don't think I can get the same privileges like last year's...
